University Hospital "Lozenets" started a new initiative - Clinical days on different topics.

The first event, which took place on 20 January 2023, focused on pancreatic cancer. In parallel, the hospital opened the first Pancreatic Centre in the country.

Pancreatic surgery is the most complex visceral surgery and is performed in highly specialised centres, as is the practice in Europe and worldwide.
